ADVISORY

We all leave our business one day.
Will you choose the exit, or will it choose you?

When to start

Most exits are decided years before the day.

Owners who plan early get to choose their timing, their successor and their price. Owners who don't usually have those choices made for them by health, a market shift or a tired partner. Here is how the runway typically looks.

3–5 years out

Set the destination

What you want from the exit: money, timing, legacy, who carries the business on.

2–3 years out

Build transferable value

Reduce owner dependence, tidy the accounts, document systems, secure key staff and contracts.

12–18 months out

Choose the path

Third-party sale, family succession, management buyout or partial exit, tested against your numbers.

Transition

Execute with support

The right team in place, a clear plan for handover and no surprises in due diligence.

Services

From the first question to the final handover.

Vorrei works for the owner. Some engagements are purely advisory; others run through to a completed transaction. Where your exit calls for a licensed agent, accountant or lawyer, we bring them in and coordinate the work so the plan carries through.

About

Blair Pedler, Principal

I've bought businesses, built them and sold them, so I know what an exit feels like from the owner's chair as well as what a buyer looks for.

I co-founded, scaled and sold an insurance broking group. I continue to own and operate B2B and B2C distribution businesses. I've spent my career on both sides of business transactions and more recently as a business broker in Perth.

Vorrei is the advisory side of that experience: helping owners make the big decision well, long before the transaction starts. I work across Perth and regional WA, with a long connection to Bunbury and the South West.
